I’m new to permaculture, and a long way still south of you – 30d north, same as Cairo – so I’m interested in how fruit guilds can created milder growing conditions for greens underneath. I’m also still making the transfer from the annuals seen at the grocer to perennials I want to be eating from the yard.

Thanks for the tip about blueberries/azaleas – I have both, and will get more berries in amongst the Mobile Pinks.
